Hi Esther, Thanks a lot for the information. At 4:07 you say something like 'hang into the knee joint' and you also? mentioned several time 'over extending the pose'. I did not quite well understand this. Do you mean that there should be no curve at the knee and the whole? leg should be straight, for example in triangle pose? Many thanks!

Oh Ester, I love this video, i? practise yoga for 3 yrs already, and i am having serious knee pain, i know there is sth wrong with my legs alignment when i do the warrior, and this video is very useful for me i think i might hurt my poor knee after the careless warrior poase during lesson thank you!!!!!

This is great advice. I'm very flexible and tend to hyperextend.? I have a Baker's cyst from pre-yoga days behind my left knee that is not painful, but I'm almost sure came about from not being careful of this.

Being overweight is taxing for the joints,? so you need to be extra careful! If it feels too much it probably is. It being strenuous is good, but if it feels too much on the knees it isn't!

Is this safe when you are very overweight? I am 18 stone and have damaged my knees by doing? high impact exercise like running...I like yoga but I find some of the moves very strenuous and I do struggle to weight bear on my knees. Thank you for these great uploads.

Thank you! Very good timing... for me. Yesterday I had problems with my knees during yoga class. My knees always moved between over extended position and " just right" positon. I didn't feel great during the class because of that and I also had problem with the tree and the dancer pose... more than usual :) Thank you, Esther. If you have some recommandations? for me...

The voice of experience! Not many yoga (or flexibility) teachers emphasise the support aspect of muscles. This is probably because it probably is not talked about that much and they see the final pose in books or already accomplished masters and think that it is simply enough to mimic any fully "relaxed" position using basic principles. However, assuming you did not start as a baby, there was a journey to get to that pose and it is different for all. Esther's videos show that? well:)
