Beginner here and good to see morning workout but is there one for before bed time. I have heard there shouldn't be any heavy workout as it's time for body shut down mode. Just noted? your site so not seen all workouts. Like what I see so far but having a knee situation due to age 60 so starting out late but taking attitude it's never too late to start.

When we do the low lunge, I notice that, in my knees, there's some sort of shifting and pinching going on,like I'm pulling my patellal tendons in the wrong direction. Are my legs out of place? Should I turn my hips out a certain? way? Or will this go away with practice?

Ya know what Tara.. I work in a factory with a bunch a "manly" dudes.. I told them i do yoga and now i dont hear the end of it. Gay jokes and such on the daily. People hear yoga and want to hate right away. Whatever. I feel better than i ever did even though my time is limited now. And who made the first yoga routine i ever did about 2 years ago? Ms. Stiles... You look? great, and you and your group do good for people. I appreciate it.

Are there any poses you recommend for hand/wrist flexibility? Also ankle flexibility? Keeping my feet flat during downward dog? is touch....or is it just a matter of time and keeping at it?

for many people exhaling as you rise up helps with the head rushes (usually a low blood pressure thing). i'd say, it's okay to stick with it, just rise up slowly, as you exhale, and if needs be you can take a brief pause? after the head spin bit - like, up to 10 or 20 secs as you readjust. i'm not Tara, but another yoga teacher. good luck ! & keep going with this :)

hello. i have done this routine a couple of times now. is it common to get light headed in the beginning? i am a male in my mid twenties 150 5'10 and i work construction, so i believe i am healthy but the head rushes are making me think different. have your heard of beginners getting frequent head rushes? (once or twice during routine) ?
